Cure for The Swine Flu?

Fortunately, I'm not in the position to experiment with the flu virus so I can't say I'm very confident. Keep in mind that, like the cure for the common cold, we assert that viral load matters - less is always better. Also, we are focusing on the first stage or the innate immune response and try to amplify its effectiveness. From the list of symptoms associated with the flu - as listed on Wikipedia (1) - the following is a list of logical things to do:

Symptom / What one should do

coughs / cough a lot more
runny nose / blow nose a lot more as in my Common Cold video
high fever / cover up oneself in multiple layers of blankets
vomiting, diarrhea / take HCL pills to kill virus in the stomach and the intestine
muscle ache / I'm not really sure how to explain this so I can't devise a way to "help" the body.
lack of appetite / eat less just to have enough energy to function

Unlike the common cold virus which mainly inhabits the nasal passage, we can see that the flu virus is everywhere in the body. As always, do this the moment you think you have the flu. Wait too long and the virus will multiply and overwhelm the immune system.

Why didn't I think of this? Now that I had failed, I'm thinking about all sort of possibilities. The body, esp. of those with a compromised immune system, is an inferior cell plant. Outside the body and inside the lab, there shouldn't be anything getting in the way of production scaling of whatever type of cells that are needed. What if AIDS patients are treated this way, while at the same time, be on some sort of cocktail drugs to that keep viral population at a minimum?

Common cold con't & AIDS/HIV

I wonder if the common cold is something in the domain of humoral response. If it is that then IL-4 overexpression may cause the virus to be cleared earlier.

Also, AIDS is primarily a disease of a compromised cell-mediated response. What if the opposite of IL-4 overexpression is performed? Would it boost cell-mediate response, enhancing effectiveness of drugs?

I'm going too deep into unknown territory here.
